It began in the 1960s and is divided into three stages. Phase 1:From the mid-1960s to the mid-1970s.Mainly for the technical transformation of automotive electrical products to improve some performance, such as installing transistor radios on the car. Phase 2:From the late 1970s to the mid-1990s.To solve the three major problems of automotive safety, pollution, and energy conservation,an electronic gasoline injection system,an electronic anti-skid braking device, and an electronic ignition system have been developed. Phase 3:After the mid-1990s.Electronic technology has expanded from engines to multiple fields such as chassis, body, and diesel engines, and various electronic control systems are becoming increasingly sophisticated. The electronicization of automobiles has reached a considerable level. The electronic control systems currently used in engines mainly include:electronic fuel injection system(EFI),electronic ignition system(ESA),idle control system(ISC),emission control system, intake control system, boost control system, cruise control system, warning prompt, self diagnosis and alarm system, failure protection system, emergency backup system, other control systems, etc. |
